Discussions between council and our legal teams are slowly progressing. There has been a lot of confusion about our rearranged
operations so we hope this explanation is a little clearer. Yes we are open
We have always been an Adventure Park not just a 4x4 Park
We have a large zoned camping and recreation section within the property and people must camp within that area. It is
preferred that you phone or send us an email so we can advise you of updates to the park. We do take bookings if you
have a specific campsite you want us to hold for your group. You do require a 4x4 vehicle to reach the campsites. If you
have a 2x2 car this can be parked at the office and your friends can ferry you and your gear up to the campsites. You can
have visitors to your site but these must be pre arranged when booking or when checking in.
All the trails throughout the property past our back door do require a 4x4 vehicle. The majority are suited for standard 4x4
cars. To access the camping grounds, lookouts and other activity stations throughout the property you must have a 4x4 vehicle.
You cannot tow in specialised 4x4 vehicles. We no longer hold monthly 4x4 challenges or have 4x4 driver training courses
available. You cannot just come to the park for a day’s 4x4 driving around the trails and then return home on the same day.
We do not allow motor bikes or quad bikes on the property.
Scenic Rim Adventure Park is situated in the beautiful Scenic Rim, just twenty minutes south west of Beaudesert amongst
lush bush land.
We offer back to basic wilderness bush camping grounds with camp-fire cooking to relax and catch up with family and friends.
The park is 680 acres, comprising of hilly terrain and rocky gullies with a well grassed flat areas for camping grounds, tranquil
rainforest like bush hiking tracks, mountain bike tracks, plenty of places for the kids to ride their push-bikes, remote control
rock crawling track and the Endeavour Replica with a galley cave maze to explore and play. The property is still in a wilderness
environment so everything is very back to basic.
We have endangered Flora and Fauna throughout the property and welcome social groups interested in viewing or tracking
these particular sections of the property. As most bird watching and bush walking groups only hold their gatherings on a
single day we do have a special rate for these particular interest groups.
We have over 40 years of no land management to overcome and welcome offer of help with the removal of lantana and
the other infested weeds that have taken over large sections of this property. Helpers are given free entry for a couple of
hours work. If your group are interested in helping out please ring Wendy on 0458406236
