We have received a lot of enquiries about running 4WD training courses and have finally developed a course which is very practical and hands on in a 4WD environment.

4WD accidents tend to be caused by inexperienced drivers not understanding the correct way to move or go over objects in their path, or driver carelessness or just drivers being over confident and not paying attention to the terrain.

This training session aims to help participants familiarise themselves with the capabilities and limitations of their four wheel drive vehicle: 

• Basic understanding of vehicle components and maintenance.
• How to manouver different types of terrain -hilly, creek beds, step inclines etc.
• 4WD recovery practices

The course does include a BBQ lunch, and at the end of the course, drivers are welcome to stay, explore and play in the park until dark.

This training course is $150 per person, (not limited to one person per vehicle).

Courses are run on either a Saturday or Sunday. So complete the online registration form and identify your preference.  We will then be intouch to organise an appropriate date.
