Creep, crawl and climb a new attraction for the remote control rock crawlers opens the Anzac Day long weekend

On Saturday 24 April, Scenic Rim Adventure Park will open the parks newest attraction, a remote control rock crawler track.

It's not about speed but it is about power and manoeuvrability, navigating obstacles and extremely uneven, rocky surfaces that many other remote controls can't handle.

Park visitors are encouraged to bring along their own remote controls or hire or purchase one at the park and see how well they can handle the rough terrain specially designed for the a rock crawler.

“The new attraction is for the youngsters that come along to our park, but also for the big boys at heart. We have a lot of families that camp at our park and this attraction will provide opportunity for after hours activities but it also provide the remote control enthusiasts a great venue to come along and play with their toys”, said Wendy Harris, Scenic Rim Adventure Park Director.

Scenic Rim Adventure Park do have remote control rock crawler for hire by the hour at $10 or you can purchase either a Losi Mini-Rock Crawler for $359.00 (ready to run) or a Losi Night Rock Crawler at $379.00 (battery not included).

The Mini-Rock Crawler is a 1:18 scale ready-to-run electric remote control that comes with a digital spectrum modulation radio system, rock crawler tires, specially tuned electronic speed controller for rock crawling, multi-link suspension, and 3-gear center transmission.

The Night Crawler, the 1/10 Night Crawler includes a radio system with Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSM Technology, solid front and rear axles with a worm-gear drive, a crawler-specific LiPo compatible electronic speed control and heavy-duty CV Driveshafts. Whether you are new to crawling or an experienced driver, you will have a blast attacking the rocks with the 1/10 Night Crawler.
