We allowed dogs in the park providing they are on leads at all times.

Unfortunately a number of dogs have been let off their leads especially while in the campsite areas.

If we continue to have complaints regarding people disregarding our request for dogs to be kept on their leads we will be forced to withdraw our offer regarding dogs in the park

You may love and trust your dogs but others do not have that same trust and they came to the park to enjoy their camping and 4x4 driving.

We had received requests about bringing dogs into the park.

 There were a number of issues we needed to address regarding this request.

The cows and horses throughout the park, native animals, children, non dog lovers, dogs droppings, barking and other dogs brought into the park.

 While I do not hate dogs after been bitten a couple of times out of the blue from so called very friendly dogs I am very aware of  possible problems that could arise.

 After considering all these issues we decided we would allow dogs into the park providing they are on a lead at all times.

This means from the front gate and throughout the complete park.

Dog droppings need to be collected and properly buried

 We hope everyone who brings a dog into the park will comply with the lead and dropping request or this arrangement will be reconsidered
