August update

While we have graded the blue standard tracks throughout the park none of the black and red tracks have had any repair work carried out since the flood damage.

On our maps we have a grading guide listed.

While some of these guides are still relevant the majority of the black and red tracks require the drivers to get out and asses their cars capabilities on these tracks.

April 7^th 2011

our mail entry road, hand break hill, tour drive one and two were all regraded after the Christmas New Year floods.

The lower road is our neighbour’s private road and they very kindly allow us to use this road for service vehicles, caravans, large car trailers and low set 2x2 cars.

We ask all other vehicles to enter through our top road entry 

We suggest smaller car trailers off load if possible and use the top road entering the park

Closed tracks

The 2x2 entry road was closed for the New Year’s weekend due to major flood damage. It was disappointing to have people disregard the signs posted. Unfortunately their lack of consideration increased the damage to this private road and upset our neighbours.

When tracks have a posted sign please follow directions and do not drive the track.

If you come across tracks that have tape or ropes across your path please check at the office and do not enter the track

Tracks are closed due to damage or competition use.

Campsite track changes

Most of the tracks throughout the campsites were created by the cattle paths. Naturally animals take the eases root which inevitably is also the most level.

Campsite 1 has had a number of posts erected through the centre so the roadway is now on a slope leaving the old track area for tent usage.

Campsite 3 has also had changes made to the left side track. This has also been relocated on the slope leaving the old centre track for tent usage.

Please do not cut through the grassed sections on any of the campsite. Everyone would prefer to set up tents on grass rather than in mud patches.

During the past four weeks the guys have been creating tracks especially for the King of the Rim towards the back of the park.

Remember you do require two cars with full recovery gear to drive any double black or red track.

There is a call out fee for anyone who requires management to use their vehicles to assist with their recovery on any track in the park

On the northern side Liana’s run and part of relax drive have been graded with Permission Hill exit into the valley redirected.

On the Southern side Hand Break Hill leading onto tour drive one has been widened for two way traffic. Once these tracks have been compacted we are hoping two wheel drive cars will be able to access this ridgeline campsites.
