Please do not drive over the grass during wet weather

During the past few months we have lost grassed camping areas due to deep ruts cut into the camping grounds during the wet weather

Wet weather increases the difficulty on all tracks

As the creek is flowing into the catchment we have closed the creek run and ask drivers not to use tracks which have been roped off

Thank You

Wet weather increases the difficulty of all the tracks and drivers need to be mindful of the type of tyre they have on their cars when driving on the tracks after rain.

We ask everyone to refrain from driving on the grassed areas of the campsites during wet weather.

If you do find yourself requiring assistance with recovery during wet weather the recovery team do have the right to insist you leave your vehicle if they consider the recovery will be too dangerous. They also have the right to increase their recovery cost of $150 call out which will be negotiated before the recovery commences.

Wet weather use of the park

When the park has wet weather the northern ridge line is always closed. Some of these tracks do camber the wrong way and as this ridge line does have cliff edges we request people do not drive this section of the park.

The southern ridge tracks are usable after a three hour rain break. Some of these tracks remain slippery as there are natural springs along this ridge

The creek run is always open along with the play area in the valley.

People need to check the depth of the water holes as these continually change

Due to the number and multiple entry points to tracks it is impossible to put bunting up on all closed tracks. We ask all entrants to the park to use common sense and drive to the capability of their car especially during wet weather.
