August update

To help keep 4x4 cars off our larger grassed camping areas we have positioned logs to define the roadway through the campsite.

Please do not remove these logs for firewood. Some are old fence posts which have been treated.

When collecting your firewood please do not remove the large old logs which are habitat or potential habitat logs. We know these make great firewood but we want to keep the park as natural as possible and catering for the native animals is an important part of our responsibilities.

Fallen timber in the creek is not to be removed. This again is part of keeping the park in a natural state.

June 2011

As our camping numbers continue to increase we suggest everyone try to bring in their own firewood especially if your are arriving late in the day

You will need to drive up to the ridge line to collect firewood

We are looking into having bagged firewood for sale at the office

We suggest people bring their own firewood.

There is wood throughout the park which can be collected for cooking fires but you will have to do that yourselves.

Under no circumstances’ are any standing dead trees to be cut down without permission of the owners.

When collecting wood be careful of native animal habitat please
