March 2012

You can almost site and watch the grass grow under your feet on the campsites after the rain we had late February. We have opened up more areas for camping so you now have a choice of valley sites close to amenities, hill sites with lovely bush settings or ridgeline sites with wonderful views all the way to the city.

With twenty different camping sites to cater for groups plus a number of areas for single cars we easly cater for those wanting to get away from everyone else.

Remember some site are more popular than others so we do advise if you have a particular site you want to stay on get your bookings in early.

There are photos of some sites on our website

Over this past week we have had a fare amount of rain at the park. Those day trippers who have requested a mud run over the past two months are well catered for at the moment. The wombat wholes are full of water

The mountain range on the right is closed till the tracks fully dry out. The more modified vehicles are still making it up Cliff road and Handbrake hill between the showers.

The lower tracks, creek runs and play area are keeping most of the day trippers fully entertained.

If we get a break in the weather we should have some fantastic New Years Brisbane fireworks viewing spots along the ridge top.

We would like to thank everyone for their help and support this past year and wish you all a very happy New Year.
