We had seventeen days of rain through the Christmas break at the park.
We normally close the right side of the range for safety reasons during wet weather.
On one particular day we had to close off both sides of the range from driving due to the conditions. We had considered whether we should close the park altogether when it rained so we decided to ask our visitors when they left the park after their days driving in wet weather.
I questioned if there were enough tracks throughout the valley to keep them busy.
They all said they had a great days driving. The creek run and play area were especially challenging and fun in the wet.
The seventeen visitors cars ranged from stock standard to modified so we feel there is sufficient to offer everyone a day’s enjoyment during wet weather so the park will continue normally during the wet
