About the Course

4WD accidents tend to be caused by inexperienced drivers not understanding the correct way to manoeuvre their vehicle, drive over objects in their path, drive carelessly, being overconfident or not pay attention to the terrain and understanding their vehicles capabilities.

Our awareness course aims to help participants familiarise themselves with the capabilities and limitations of their four wheel drive vehicles and be more confident 4 wheel drivers.

You can book for one vehicle and we will group you with others. The course fee is per person doing the course not per vehicle. You can have a couple in one vehicle doing the course.

Package includes:

• 4WD park entry and driving for the day
• Accredited trainers running the course
• Six hour training course including theory and practical
• Certificate of participation
• Morning tea and barbecue lunch

Costs:

• $170.00 main driver doing the course
• $120.00 second person in vehicle doing the course
• Additional passengers not doing the course $50 per person 15 years and up
• $30 children 5 to 14 years
• ​If you chose to camp over Additional costs apply
• You do require your own 4WD with snatch strap and shackles minimum recovery equipment

If you would like to a mid week course we need a minimum of 3 vehicles.

We can arrange corporate team building days and tag-a-long tours of the park.

Advanced or more tailored specialised training can be organised.
